We had another GREAT morning! Killian has been awesome to get ready these few days that Brock has been gone!

I am shocked we made it to town this morning, it is February and it is raining here in Minnesota! The roads are awful icy, I hate that!

Killian has been in love with his dad's playstation, he loves to play it all the time! Since it is winter I do not mind much, it is also a good bargaining tool! He gets to play it a little n the morning if he gets ready first!

We hope daddy is having a great time! Bust those drifts!

Well daddy is gone for the week, on a quest for snow! He is now in Michigan on his way to the Upper Peninsula! Crazy men! It doesn't make me feel so bad when I go to Walker MN for scrap booking :)

Killian was really good this morning for me! We had to get up a little earlier and make sure we stayed on track this morning with no help for dad. We will have to see how the rest of the week goes :)

Holy crap!!! I forgot some of the most exciting news! Besides the fact that I have a future pro wrestler on my hands he is also one happy kid :)

We had Killian's parent teacher conferences last Monday, Feb 12th. Oh do we love Killian's teacher Mrs. Parrish, as does Killian. She said Killian is doing wonderful in school, his report card was GREAT! She started talking about things that they were working on in class and what they will be working on. She asked if we had any questions...me being the "mom" needed to know if he respected his elders and listened to the teacher! This is very important too! She smiled and went on and on about Killian-the whole time with a huge smile! You see I never hear that Killian has been in trouble or being naughty...being a mom of a 5 year old you do start to wonder...c'mon at home he is CRAZY and in trouble a lot! :) She said "Killian is my character" Brock and I smiled! "Killian is an open book!" "Every one in class knows that Mason is Killian's cousin and everyone knows that Killian had a wrestling tournament last weekend and that he LOVES wrestling, we all usually know what Killian did the night before and if he saw someone he knew at China Moon the night before..." "He comes to school everyday with a huge smile and so excited to be there!" She went on saying that he is always first to raise his hand and he gives her the most hugs of anyone! She said everyday he is so happy and excited just to be at school! I almost cried, but could not quit smiling! He makes me so proud!

Ok, Ok I am a yeller! Anyone who goes to the tournament can see that I guess. I am not mean, just trying to help Killian out :) You see someone out there trying to take your kid down and you can't help but yell out moves... especially when the other kids' parents are there hollering even louder!! It is so much fun to watch. Killian had a tournament in Fertile yesterday, Sunday. Great Grandma came from Crookston and Grandma and Grandpa "K" and even Auntie Judy and Uncle Jerry all the way from Hawley! It was sooo thoughtful and nice of them all to come and we so do appreciate the support :) Anywho, Killian got some tough kids, 1 of which he lost by 1 point to the weekend prior! Right off the bat on his first match he got a knee to the eye, HARD!! He was sooo angry, to say the least... the poor guy cried a while and the anger paid off for him, he won! The ref we had this time was a highschool kid and was not so good at giving points and gave no pins? So it came down to points to determine places. Killian won his very first 1st place trophy! I have never quite seen a kid glow the way he was after he got that trophy! I have pics to put on hopefully soon! Even though I am the mom and am naturally bias, he is one tough cookie, he is so strong! When one kid was on top of Killian yesterday I was yelling "GET UP KILLIAN" Killian was on his tummy and the kid was all over him, laying on him with all his weight, Killian got up, with the kid ON HIM!! I was amazed at the strength of my child! I hope he continues to have fun with wrestling cause I think he will really do well. I can't wait till he older so he can play football as well :)

Where has the time gone?? So much has happened in the last month!

Killian had Albert the bear for a weekend, he took him to bed and to basketball and Arby's! Lot's of people saw Albert and came to say hi, Killian even got to take a picture with the "mit" at Arby's.

I think what has been most exciting is wrestling, who'd a thunk I would get into this sport??? Killian had a tournament last weekend, he only wrestled twice, he lost the first match by only a point and pinned the 2nd kid, so he came home with a second place trophy! He was so proud of himself! I was crazy! My hands hurt after the matches from hitting the matt so hard. It was his very first match and there was hundreds of people there, the bleachers were full! He didn't seem to mind a bit, my nerves on the other hand were shot, I was so nervous for my child...I got a little teary when they sang the National Anthem and when they called the wrestlers to the match...but as soon as they said wrestle, my feelings went from nervous to adrenaline, "get up Killian" and "hold him Killian" it was so fun!!! This weekend we are going to another tournament in Fertile, Killian is pretty excited!!
