Killian is doing great in school! He really enjoys it and is excited to go every day, I hope that lasts forever!! They have library and gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays and music the other days! He enjoys it all!

For the first time today he has a problem with an article of clothing I have bought him, it is one of my favs, a light blue hoodie wih GAP in dark blue on the front with white and red around the lettering. I told him to put it on before getting out of the van and he got mad at me cause I opened the van door and someone might see him putting on the "girl shirt" as Killian put it, "red is for girls mom" he tells sternly! What the heck!?!? I love that hoodie! I think he has been taking notes from his father, I brought that sweatshirt home and Brock hated it!?!?!? We will see how tomorrow goes I guess...or tonight, he will need to wear it to soccer as it is flippin' chilly out side!

I tell you what, I am so glad last week is over! I think it was the most stressful emotionally draining week of my life! :) Friday night I had to go to bed at 8 o'clock! Crazy, I know.

This week is going good, he loves school and the bus and I love that he loves it! I am so happy that things are going well for him. He is such a little social butterfly. At times I can tell he is a little nervous to be left at school, but it takes like 2 seconds to see someone he knows playing on the play yard and there he goes!! I wish I could be a little fly on the wall in his classroom just one day so I could see how he acts with the teacher and his classmates! Last year in Pre-K I had to pick him up everyday so I would hear from Lynn how good he was doing, now he takes the bus and I don't get to see the teacher...I am sure they would let me know if he was being "naughty" :)

We had Mason's 6th birthday last weekend, the kids had a great time swimming! Mason lost his first tooth on his 6th birthday! WOW!

We had some Pizza and pop for the BIG NIGHT on Monday! Vikings vs Redskins...was that a nail biter or what! GO VIKINGS, that's what the 3 boyz kept chanting!!

WOW, what can I say... I finished journaling about most of the pics and now have some time for the "news"! I have been having a tremendously hard time with Killian having to go to school! I am not sure why it is hitting me quite the way it has, but it has hit me like a ton of bricks!!! I am so proud if this little guy and I am so happy for him to take this HUGE milestone with such excitement, he has no fear...now. We got to meet his teacher on Open House last week and he was a little scared. Mrs. Parish saw this and went right over to him and talked to him and asked him to find his locker, Killian loved this and when we left he told me she was the best teacher ever! I thought this was absolutely wonderful of her and when we went back for orientation he was so comfortable with her and the classroom! He got to stay in the classroom as the parents went to the Gym for some information stuff and then we went to the classroom and the kids went to the library...he made sure to give us both a hug though before going to the library!!! I did surprisingly well this day as I got to take him with me when we left!! :)

Yesterday, Wednesday was a bit harder! I did OK taking pictures and waiting for Mason to get there so we could have a pic of them together...when it was finally time to let Killian go to the gym I could feel that huge knot in my tummy getting bigger and bigger as I was hugging him telling him I was proud of him and to be a good boy and have a good day! I started crying and he asked me if I was sad, I told him no I was happy for him! I left and cried for a few minutes in the van...uffda!! I was a wreck waiting for school to be done to find out how it went...I went to Gayle's with the cupcakes I had made the night before and waited and waited for seemed like what was forever...I can hardly explain the relief I had when that huge, gigantic planet size bus came around the corner!!! I saw it and cried again! I could barely see through my tears to take a picture but got a good one! He came off and was so excited to see us, I hugged him so tight and asked him how it went, he said good. We went in and I told him we have cupcakes and we are having a little party just for him, again he was so excited! We all asked him a few questions and for once he was happy to answer, I asked him what his favorite part of the day was and of course he said the bus ride!! I left for work and Gayle had to deal with the sugar filled Killian :) (cupcakes and kool-aide)

I was going to make him his favorite supper, Mac and Cheese and Chicken nuggets but it was Grandpa's birthday so we went to supper with them at the Northland.

Today went well, we got ready and off we went. I was happy that Killian wanted me to walk him to the school today! I asked him if he wanted me to drop him off or if I could walk him to his assigned color coded line. He asked if I could walk him. Are you kidding me I was thinking... I will take that chance as long as I can! He put his back pack in line and off he went to play on the playground! What a good feeling I had when I left today...so much different then yesterday.

I think I am having such a difficult time with this because I know he is needing less supervision, I have always been the type of mother that always has one eye on that kid! My mind just can't comprehend that he is growing up and can make his own decisions and get to the bus ok and stay off the road. I just have to realize that he IS a BIG BOY and I have to let him grow up with out hovering over him!!

On a funny note that only my child would think of. I picked him up a back pack in Forks on Monday, Xander and I went to get a few things. He got home Monday evening and saw this back pack and loved it, he said I was the best mom ever and that he loved the back pack more then his Orange County Choppers back pack (it was too dirty to use another year). The next day we were in the van ready to go and he told me again that I was the best and he just loves his new back pack, so much he dreamed about it! I said you had a dream about your back pack, he said yes I dreamed about my back pack cause it is so cool!!! What a ham!! I thought that was hilarious!

Also, Killian started fall soccer on Tuesday. I have truly seen a maturity in him since the last few sessions, what a big boy I really do have!! As for me I am still the mini van driving soccer mom of a kindergartener!! Boo hoo... tears!!!!!
