Boy did I miss my boy!! He left with Grandma and Grandpa Kuchan and Uncle Tony and Great Grandma Moe on Saturday morning for Sioux City Iowa and did not come home till last night! (Monday) He had a blast! He got to swim so much I am surprised he did not come home with fins. His great Aunt Kathy has a pool so he was in his glory (next to a dance floor). The ride there and back went well I was told, it is like a 7 hour drive. I am sure he had a fabulous time with Uncle Tony, he just loves to spend time with him and I am sure sitting in the back with uncle and watching movie after movie and reading book after book and coloring really helped the ride too! Next time we go on a road trip I am bringing Uncle Tony or Auntie Lisha!
Auntie Lisha even waited for Killian to get home so he could see her before she went home last night, then he made her stay and help him with his new King Kong puzzle I got him. 100 pieces and he whips through those like some kind of puzzle master!
I am so happy to have my boyz home, it just does not feel like a home with out them!! But if Nana Gayle or Russ reads this you can take my little fisherman camping anytime! Oh, and it goes with out saying that Grandma Marilyn can take my little man across the state anytime as well!!! Thank you so much! I am so grateful to have such thoughtful and loving family and friends.Comments:Add a comment:

Well since it is summer and Killian sweats and plays so hard I figured a cut was best! I know grandma will be ECSTATIC!
Killian has quite a busy week ahead of him! Today Killian and Xander left with Gayle, Russ and Brady to go camping till Friday, Killian was the most excited little boy on the planet today! On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Kuchan and Uncle Tony are taking Killian with them to Sioux City for Cousin Jonathan's graduation! He will be all pooped out by the time I get him back on Monday! Anyway he will look good for his adventures and grandma will be happy, I will say nana Gayle loved the hair cut as well!! He is a handsome little man if I do say so myself!Comments:Add a comment:

I just LOVE the new pic of Killian, so much I had to add it to the website (to cut or not to cut). It makes me sad though because he looks like a BOY, not my baby or even my little boy! He looks so mature...I hate that but the picture makes me smile. It is amazing how just a few months can make such a difference in children or even what a little extra hair will do!!
I had to tell a quick story about Killian. Last week on Tuesday, Michelle had her baby, a little girl Olivia Lynn (Lynn is after my middle name) she is just a little peanut! Tiny at 5 lbs! Killian get to hold her and he came home to tell me he can't wait till he gets his little baby sister! Does he know something I do not?!? I am not pregnant and I have come to the conclusion that God has given me BOYZ for a reason...I think of girls and I think of dating and prom and PMS!! YIKES!!! I would not know what to do with a little girl :) I am sure I would maybe figure it out though....but not anytime soon... Oh another thing, I think god knows that my financial situation would never ever allow enough $$ for all those cute cute cute baby girl clothes!!!Comments:Add a comment:

What a long week...it has been different with out Brock at home and I can tell the boyz miss him. The mornings have been trying, Killian is a little crabby patty in the morning!!! I am hoping things will be better after the routine has set in a little better and we all get used to things again. Killian has been great otherwise, he is such a big boy and has become such a good helper. We went to McDonald's last night with Sunny and Ethan, (Ethan is 1 month younger then Xander) they had to eat and run but we stayed for a little while since no one else was there. Killian helped Xander up the tunnels and down the slide over and over. It was Xander's 1st McDonalds real play experience. It was the most relaxing time I have had all week, I just sat and chatted on the cell phone and took some pics...maybe next time I should bring a book!!
I got the pics back from their photo session last week...I may be too picky but I am not real impressed, I did get a few good ones of Killian in his "Rock On" outfit from Auntie Lisha, but the ones of only Xander were not my fav, oh well I will just do it again, you can never have to many pics, that's my motto!!!
I have been trying to grow Killian's hair out to a "shag" or "hockey hair" and I don't think I can handle it any more!!! I will have to put those pictures on here and you will have to let me know...to cut or not to cut...is the question...we will do a poll!! I am sure I know what Grandma Marilyn will say...I don't think she likes his hair too much???Comments:Add a comment:

Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!!
The first morning with out dad to help with the boys went really well. Killian did not want to get out of bed and when he finally did he stomped down the stairs saying "I never get enough sleep" I am thinking I am in for a world of trouble if he is already complaining about gettin' out of bed! YIKES!!Comments:Add a comment:

I was thinking last night how grateful I am this Mother's Day!! Killian had me on the floor I was laughing so hard! I have never ever seen a 5 year old with the tired sillies!! I have seen a tired cranky 5 year old, but never one with tired sillies!! He came up to bed last night and jumped on MY bed, "mom I have not slept with you in a looong time, please can I lay with you" as he is giggling. I am thinking what is he up to??? Brock comes up to bed and Killian is just laughing and laughing and can't stop!! I have no idea where it came from and I can not believe he did not wake Xander up but it was so funny...Grandpa K watched the boyz last night and I am convinced he slipped Killian something to get him to sleep and it did the opposite?!?! I will have to investigate.

Wow, I can't believe it is already Wednesday ...where does the time go? Killian and Brock went to the movies last night. RV, Killian and Brock loved it. Killian and Brock came home telling me all of their favorite funny parts, Killian would say "my favorite part was when ..." and Brock would say "well my favorite part was..." on and on they went, I feel as though I saw the whole movie as well. It makes me happy that Brock now has someone to go with him to the FUNNY movies, I am not a COMEDY flick type of person.
Also I want to say thanx for the wonderful things everyone has to say in the guestbook!! I look forward to checking the site every day for new entries!Comments:Add a comment:

7 Ft Car Race Track.....$13.99
20 HotWheel Cars........$19.40
1 Laundry Basket.........$4.99
My 3 boyz entertained ALL evening by racing cars from the top of my kitchen cupboards all the way down over the high chair and jumping them into the laundry basket.....priceless...
I got to clean my scrappin' room in peace last night, I suppose I can not really say peace, as Xander still has not quite figured out the meaning of taking turns, but he did pretty good. When it was Killian's turn Brock sat with Xander and he clapped every time Killian made the basket!!! Also, you would think that the dad would forfeit his turn for a crying 18 month old....nope not this dad, when it was dad's turn it was just that...DAD'S TURN!!!

As I said in Xander's entry another weekend gone by too fast! Killian got a new toy in Grand Forks on Saturday night and he is lovin' it!! It is some type of race track but it hangs on the top of a door, so in my kitchen on the front door we have this 7 foot race track hangin' there for the boys to drop cars on! Cars are flyin' all across my kitchen! Killian as creative as he is has tried to put the end of this ramp on the table on boxes on dad's shoes all to see how far these cars can really go... Xander likes to find balls and watch them fly!! God grant me patience as their father enjoys this more then the boyz!!!
Killian at Hugo's last night was so good, he wanted to come in so he could get his free cookie but it was to late and the bakery was closed, he was not sad. I asked him if we should get a box of cookies instead and he said "nope, we do not need to mom, I just wanted one" I was greatful for that because a box of cookies are more then my will power can handle. The other day, the day before his preschool program we had to run to Hugo's to get treats for the program, we picked up some cookies and that was all we needed. Killian asked what else we needed and I told him nothin' else "mom we need to get some real groceries like yugurt or something" he says. Needless to say we left with far more then we went for...Comments:Add a comment:
