I just realized it has been over a month since I updated Killian's "news"!! What a busy month, we celebrated Christmas...1...2...3...4,5 times and we still will get together with the LaCoursiere's and the Bowman's! Wow! It was a lot of fun to get to visit family and actually relax a bit. We had a couple parties at our house which works out well with the boys...they can have the run of the house that way! Killian was spoiled rotten with tons of toys and movies and CD's and games for Dad's Playstation II. Auntie Lisha even got him an Atari with built in games...I think Dad and I and Lisha were more excited to play the Atari then Killian though...he may be a bit too young to appreciate that game! Killian was very appreciative of everything he received and that made me very proud! He is growing so fast and I hate it! Last night in bed he asked when he would grow up to be like me...I told him "too soon, you already grow too fast for mommy" he just smiled, he knows I get a bit emotional when we talk about him getting so big soooo fast!
Oh, do I have a Killian story for you! It is far too funny! Last night after putting the little guy to bed he came to my room as I was putting clothes away, he asked "Mom, when will we be dead?" "Oh honey, not for a long long time" I said. "like 100 years" Killian says, I told him "yep, you will not die for a hundred years" I walked him back to his bed and he gets in and says "but I don't want to die and be put up on the wall like the dead animals" I told Killian people are not stuffed and put on the wall! He argued it a bit and I told him we are buried and go into the ground in a casket and we go up to heaven to be with Jesus, then he told me he thought Jesus was in Church, I told him his presence is...his presence?? Killian asked looking confused...needless to say we had a long chat about god and praying and Killian prayed for all the dead people cause he loves them...what a sweetie. I told him that was nice cause I have 2 grandpas I miss very much that are up in heaven watching over us. I thought we were done talking about it and that I maybe answered some of his questions, or not... I was now downstairs about 5 minutes later telling Alicia about the dead people put on the wall story and he comes down and hears me talking about him, he asked me to stop talking about him...so of course I did, so he asks me "will you die before me mommy?" YIKES, I thought! I waited and said no, he replied, "but you are older then me mommy?" So I knew I would not win this with the truthful answer and he is only 5, so I asked him "do you want mommy to die first?" NO!! So I told him we would all die together...I know, I know...probably not...but it made him feel better and that's all that matters!!!! right???????
He wants to start wrestling next month, and basketball! I have issues with the wrestling but I know if it is something he really wants to try I will not keep him from it! Besides I do have a little brut!! He is one strong little man.
He is off school right now for Christmas break, it is strange not dropping him off at school. He asks all the time how many days till he goes back to school...who'd a thunk?!?!?
Brock left yesterday morning at 5 in the am to find snow!! Him and Lars...Brock was getting a bit of cabin fever...boy did he need to get out with his snowmobile! From what he told me he found some snow all the way up in International Falls! Crazy boyz!!
Well I forgot my camera at home so I hope to get all the Christmas pictures on here tomorrow! I hope this finds you all well! Have a happy New Year!!!Comments:Add a comment:
